About Defensive Driving Masters

A state-approved defensive driving course on your phone, with the certificate and filing handled.

What we do

A course that respects the customer. State-approved content delivered in a clean mobile experience that saves progress properly, meets the mandated time requirements without feeling punitive, and handles the whole administrative chain: certificate generation, direct electronic filing with the court or the licensing agency where permitted, insurance carrier notification, and a confirmation the customer can show. Support answers within the hour, because most of the anxiety is administrative rather than educational.

Who we built it for

• Ticketed drivers

Drivers with a moving violation who want it kept off their record, with the highest volume in Texas, Florida, New York and California.

• Drivers seeking an insurance discount

Drivers taking a voluntary course for an insurance discount.

• Fleets and employers

  Organisations enrolling drivers at volume.

The problem

Millions of drivers a year are ordered or incentivised to take a defensive driving course, and the available courses are dreadful: dated video, forced timers, clumsy interfaces that lose progress, and a certificate process that requires posting a form.

People are annoyed, in a hurry, and simply want it finished correctly and accepted by the court.
